This starts with a free visit to your home. We will walk through and assess your needs with you. Once you are happy we will sign an agreement and you can pay the sign up fee of $150 (which goes towards your monthly payment). This doesn't have to happen all at the same time as we understand people need time to think through the details. Then we will get you scheduled for a time with one of our maintenance team to come and start taking care of your home.
Part of our desire is that people are helped in their homes on their terms. This can mean different things to different people and will mostly likely be calculated on the cost of non maintenance or even the cost of moving if that is a consideration. For some its about maintaining what they have so that they can continue to live there comfortably. For others its about not having the time to take care of what is needed to be done. Perhaps a mixture. If you are considering this you probably see the benefit it could be for you and we can help evaluate at needs and give you a fair sense of what we could do for you.
A home maintenance specialist will complete an inventory of your home. This will involve recording the various features and fixtures of your.
This information will then be taken and put in your unique home maintenance plan. This includes both the routine maintenance and any of your specific maintenance requirements.
Along with the routine maintenance that improves safety for items that could cause fires or water damage, etc. We also specialize in solutions for those with low mobility, balance concerns or similar conditions. This include products like shower seating, grab bars, anti-slip flooring and other occupational therapist approved solutions.
Everyones situation is different. But for many people they both want to stay in their home but simply don't have the ability to maintain it. This creates an expense either way, we believe giving people this option can give some back their independence without move out of their home and incur more costs.
The idea for this business came about from personal experiences of a family member who was struggling with their home upkeep and looking for help. The family pitched in an enormous amount. Its a familiar story. But this plus our industry experience led to the idea. We felt we could branch out easily into home maintenance. We quickly realized that this could be a very useful service for a variety of people.
